Hi, my name is Ashton Taylor. I grew up in Kamloops where I played the majority of my minor hockey, and also bantam prep at Yale Hockey Academy and Midget Prep at Okanagan Hockey Academy. I currently play junior hockey for the Langley Rivermen in the BCHL.
I was fortunate enough to participate in a number of extra curricular hockey skill development programs ( including AKHockey), and I feel it played an important role in allowing me to play at the rep and junior hockey levels. It’s exciting to see Aaron bring his energy, passion, and AK system to Kamloops full time for players to take advantage of.
I’ve worked with a number of youth hockey development programs and it’s rewarding to see how excited they get when they learn a new skill. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with AKHockey, and mentor the younger players in Kamloops on the importance of skill and skating development in reaching their hockey goals
