AKHockey has given me the opportunity to step right into coaching after recently retiring from pro hockey (BCHL, NCAA, SPHL, & ECHL). I met Aaron over 15 years ago, where I quickly started to train and skate with him to improve my skating and become a well rounded hockey player.
Knowing from personal experience how beneficial AKHockey’s skating curriculum is and how it took my game to the next level, gives me the drive and passion I need as a coach to pass that along.
Having the ability to work with athletes 1 on 1 on the skate mill is amazing.
Seeing drastic improvement from just one 45 minute session, is very rewarding as a coach and for the athlete. Adding in the fun, energetic and passionate approach AKHockey brings to the game, has made it an easy transition into coaching that I’m extremely excited about.
